Award-winning theatre company, Redditch Operatic Society, have just began to ‘whip crack away’ at rehearsals for their November production of Calamity Jane, which is being performed at Redditch Palace Theatre from 17 to 21 November.
The company are currently on the hunt for some leading men to audition for a number of roles, including the principal parts of Wild Bill Hickok (Bass), Lieutenant Danny Gilmartin (Baritone) and Francis Fryer (Tenor), plus, other spoken and choral parts are available. The group rehearse on a Tuesday evening in Redditch Town Centre at Community House on Easemore Road (see map below). Auditions take place on Sunday 28 June.
