Stafford & District Operatic Society are riding the Deadwood Stage into the Gatehouse Theatre this April with the rootin’, tootin’ musical, Calamity Jane.

Based on the real life characters of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane, this Academy Award winning show takes a romanticised look at the relationship between two of the best loved figures of the American Wild West. Wild Bill and ‘Calam’ fuss, feud and finally fall in love in this romantic musical comedy with many a twist and turn on their path to true love.

With high-stepping dance routines and a hummable humdinger of a score, the thirty strong cast of Calamity Jane, will have you tapping your feet, slapping your thigh and yelling “Yeehaw!” before the nights through.

Featuring the Oscar winning ballad Secret Love and other well-known favourites Windy City, I Can Do Without You and Black Hills of Dakota and many more catchy songs, Calamity Jane is a feel good show for the whole family.

Playing from 19 - 23 April, tickets are available through Ticketsource at www.ticketsource.co.uk/staffordops, our ticket hotline 07817 215 420 or through the Stafford Gatehouse Box Office.

Theater is the most entertaining platform and the actors have to perform perfect without any mistake. I just love to watch the stage dramas and these are pretty fantastic. Thanks for the information here that would be pretty amazing.
